A delicious and easy to make chicken noodle soup that comes with tiny abc/123 pasta and larger pasta in the shape of a schoolhouse. Includes a miniature bottle of Tabasco® brand pepper sauce. Serves 10-12.

Contents:  All natural enriched semolina flour (ferrous sulfate, niacin, thiamine mononitrate, and riboflavin), spray dried tomato, spinach, and beet powders, water, carrots, onions, spices, black and white pepper, bay leaf.

Schoolhouse On the Prairie Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients to have on hand

4 qt. water

½ of a 4 lb. chicken – 1 - breast/wing quarter & 1 – leg/thigh quarter

2 cups celery, chopped (include some leaves for flavor)

2 cups onions, chopped

Spices (included)

1 ½ tsp. salt or to your taste

Schoolhouse pasta (included)

Directions

1)   Place water, chicken, vegetables, spices, and salt into a 6-quart soup pot.  Cover and bring soup to a boil.  Immediately turn down to medium low and cook for 1 hour.

2)   Add schoolhouse pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes on medium heat.  Remove and discard bay leaf.

3)   Remove chicken and place onto a cutting board to cool. Remove and discard all skin and bones.  Chop meat and return to soup.

Ring your dinner bell and gather your family around the table.  Challenge them to spell Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious—Remember???

Afterwards, serve over fabulous old-fashioned soup with a fresh garden salad, crusty whole grain bread and apple pie topped with homemade vanilla ice cream for dessert.  Terrific!!

Serves 8-10.  Freezes beautifully.
